The Rivercrest Rebels hit the diamond for the first time this season, splitting their opening two games. In their first game of the season, the Rebels finished with more hits, but DeKalb scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to pick up a 9-8 win.

MPHS senior wins Girls Singles division in Atlanta

The MPHS varsity tennis team traveled to Atlanta on Friday, March 3 to compete in the Atlanta High School varsity tournament. Senior Gali Torres won the Girls Singles Championship with junior Donovan Santana coming in 2nd in the boys singles division.

Lady Rebels start season 2-3

The Rivercrest Lady Rebels have hit the diamond with one home game, one road game and a shortened tournament thus far in 2023. The Lady Rebels kicked off their season at home against Sam Rayburn’s Lady Rebels, using an 11-run second inning to roll to a 19-1 win.

Tiger soccer defeats Whitehouse in shootout; Lady Tigers edge Ladycats

It is almost always a barnburner when the Mount Pleasant Tigers and Whitehouse Wildcats get together on the pitch. Their last few soccer matchups have finished in ties after extra time or been decided by one goal.

Lady Tiger golf wins Hallsville Invitational

The MPHS Lady Tigers golf team played in the Hallsville Invitational on Monday, February 27 and posted one of their best tournament rounds of the season. The team claimed the tournament championship with a score of 364, shaving 21 strokes off their score of 385 just two weeks prior.
