Chapel Hill High School’s Mason Garrett, and current defending 3A State Champion from 2019 competed in her first summer collegiate golf tournament this past week. The Texas Collegiate Amateur Tour (TCAT) hosted a round this past Monday and Tuesday at the Lantana Golf Club. All TCAT tournaments are ranked by both the world amateur rankings system: WAGT-World Amateur Golf Rankings and Scratch Players World Rankings. These tournaments are all 54 holes: 36-holes played on Day 1 and the final 18-holes played on Day 2.
The East Texas Junior Golf Tour two day 36-Hole Tour Championship kicked off this past Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mt Pleasant County Club.
The East Texas Junior Golf Tour finished up its regular season this past Thursday at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg, Texas.
Last Thursday the ETJGT headed west to Sulphur Springs Country Club and it was a treat for the young golfers. Sulphur Springs golf course was in amazing shape and a wonderful host to the Junior Golf Tour.
The East Texas Junior Golf Tour played in Mount Pleasant Monday. With two regular-season tournaments, all the golfers are scrambling to get into the top twenty to get an invited to the 36-Hole Tour Championship July 6-7.
