Wilhite, Swann retire from NTCC

NTCC celebrated the retirement of two beloved faculty members on Thursday. Dr. Paula Wilhite was a professor of mathematics and Mr. Jim Swann was a professor of Spanish. Wilhite has taught at NTCC since the college opened in 1985. Swann came shortly after her in 1988. Dr.

Arrests

There are 153 inmates in jail with 134 males and 19 females. Since Aug. 18, the following have been booked into the jail: Aug. 21 Tiffany Edmonson-Foster, 40 of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Jana K. Owens, 43 of Mt.

Bowie County • I-30 – From FM 989 to Arkansas state line, reconstructing and widening highway, placing concrete barrier in median • I-30 – From FM 989 to FM 3419, extension of frontage roads. FM 2148 closed under I-30 bridge • I-30 - Eastbound from FM 2253 past FM 3419, bridge work.
