Commissioners held a regular meeting Aug. 14, where they discussed the renewal of a contract with DSHS for remote birth access.
According to Titus County Clerk Leslie Brosnan, the DSHS contract allows the county to provide remote birth certificates to people outside of Titus County.
“It’s been a blessing for the county to have this,” Brosnan said.
