For the second consecutive week, the Rivercrest Rebels played a district favorite to a stalemate in the opening quarter of a game.

Tigers fall at Marshall, hope to bounce back against Nac for Homecoming

The Mount Pleasant Tigers knew no part of district play would be easy. Their first two games of the slate reinforced that. A week after welcoming Texas High to Sam Parker Field to start district, the Tigers traveled to Marshall to take on the Mavericks.

The Chapel Hill Lady Devils were looking to bounce back after two losses to the district favorites – a tough three set loss at Harmony and a close three set loss at Mount Vernon. Sometimes, when the road gets rough, there truly is “no place like home.

Harts Bluff Lady Bulldogs fall at Detroit

The Harts Bluff Lady Bulldogs looked to finish the first round of district play with a win over a team who won a district championship last season when they traveled to Detroit Tuesday evening.

Tiger JV comeback attempt falls short against Mavs

The Mount Pleasant JV football team was looking for a win at home when they welcomed the Marshall Mavericks to town Thursday night.

Rivercrest volleyball wins second district game Friday over Detroit

Last season in district play, the Rivercrest Lady Rebels were swept by the Detroit Lady Eagles, dropping both meetings by 3-0 scores. The Lady Rebels scored more than 15 points just twice in the six sets the two teams played and were held to single digits in two of the six sets.
