Last season in district play, the Rivercrest Lady Rebels were swept by the Detroit Lady Eagles, dropping both meetings by 3-0 scores. The Lady Rebels scored more than 15 points just twice in the six sets the two teams played and were held to single digits in two of the six sets.
A new year has dawned, and Rivercrest, with most of last year’s team back, did not forget last year’s meetings.
