Northeast Texas Community College Women’s and Men’s Soccer teams returned to campus on August 10th to begin preparing for the upcoming season. Recently promoted Head Coaches, Heather Brady will oversee the Women’s program and Juan (JD) Perales will oversee the Men’s program.

Sports Editor The area’s football teams held their final dress rehearsals Thursday and will officially kick off the 2022 football season next week, with one at home and two on the road. The Mount Pleasant Tigers concluded their scrimmage season Thursday at Greenville.

Rebels rebound, show high energy in scrimmage with Detroit

Sports Editor In scrimmages, teams will make mistakes, but as in games, the more important factor is how the team rebounds from the mistake. In the live quarter portion of their scrimmage against Detroit, the Rivercrest Rebels fumbled on their first play and went three-and-out on their opening drive.
