Tigers 4th, Lady Tigers 6th at Paris Invitational

The Mount Pleasant Tiger and Lady Tiger powerlifters both traveled to Paris last Thursday for the Paris Powerlifting Meet. Joining Mount Pleasant at the meet were Paris, Gilmer, Leonard, Commerce, Prariland, Wolfe City, Commerce, Chisum, Royce City and Cooper.

Northeast Texas Community College Baseball will host the Eagle Classic this coming weekend, February 18-19. The Eagles will host Alvin Community College, Galveston College, and Grayson College for the weekend of games at Eagle Field at Bob Baker Stadium on the campus of NTCC.

The CHAAMP Hawks Varsity boys handled business against the Harts Bluff Bulldogs Tuesday night, winning the game by a 25 point margin, 64-39. Playing their final home game of the regular season, the Hawks started the contest slowly, down 11-6 at the end of the first quarter.
