Joan Cochran, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas passed away on September 15, 2021, in Pittsburg, Texas. She was born March 7, 1935, in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Evan and Ione Clinton Wilkinson. Joan worked for Southwestern Bell many years as an operator, and a member of First Baptist Church.

Barbara Gail (Russell) Herrin, 80, of Grand Saline, Texas, passed away Aug. 25, 2021. She was born on Jan. 25, 1941, to “Dude” and JC Russell in Grand Saline. Barbara married O.C. Herrin on Aug. 30, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. Between them, they had four children: Carol, Jerry, Kimberly, and Timothy.

Mary Ann Grant-Tyler, 61, of Pittsburg, Texas passed away Sunday Sept. 12, 2021 in Pittsburg, Texas. Funeral Services will be held Thursday September 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church 831 TX-179 Loop Pittsburg, Texas 75686. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Cary “Butch” Driscoe Cox, of Cookville TX, made his journey to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2021 peacefully at his home. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

Dorothy Zane Covey Lebsack passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born November 9, 1930 on the same farm on which her father was born. The second child of Hull and Pauline Duncan Covey, she was born on the family farm in Titus County, northeast of Mt. Pleasant.
