Joan Cochran, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas passed away on September 15, 2021, in Pittsburg, Texas. She was born March 7, 1935, in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Evan and Ione Clinton Wilkinson. Joan worked for Southwestern Bell many years as an operator, and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons; Steve Cochran and wife Elaine, Bubba Cochran and wife Cindy, daughters; Pam Smith and husband Mike, Becky McCollum and husband Buddy all of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren; 9, great grandchildren; 18.
Preceded in death by her husband; Charles Cochran, parents; Evan and Ione Wilkinson.
A Graveside service was held 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at Old Union Cemetery with Bro. Doyle Hays officiating. Family received friends 6 p.m. – 8p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
