Nicole Kimball has joined the Mount Pleasant Tribune and Daingerfield Steel-Country Bee as a staff reporter. Kimball was raised in Mount Pleasant and attended Mount Pleasant High School. “As a Mount Pleasant native, I’m happy to work at the Tribune and Bee,” Kimball said.

A total eclipse

A total solar eclipse will cross North America, crossing over Mexico, the United States and Canada, and Mount Pleasant is in the path of totality. The solar eclipse will take place April 8, and begins at approximately 12:26 p.m. with maximum view at approximately 1:46 p.m.
