Local events slated
A total solar eclipse will cross North America, crossing over Mexico, the United States and Canada, and Mount Pleasant is in the path of totality.
The solar eclipse will take place April 8, and begins at approximately 12:26 p.m. with maximum view at approximately 1:46 p.m. and in anticipation of the once-in-a-lifetime event, many events are slated, hosted by local businesses and organizations.
