MPHS Lady Tiger Powerlifters qualify for Regionals

After six meets, the Mount Pleasant High School Lady Tiger Powerlifting team has qualified 12 lifters for the Regional meet with 1 additional lifter named an alternate. MPHS competes in Region 3 Division 1 which encompasses all 5A and 6A high schools in the Northeast Texas area.

It’s been an eventful year thus far for Toyota Share-Lunker. Through February 24, 11 Legacy Lunkers anging from 13.05 pounds to 17.03 pounds from three different lakes had been accepted into Texas Parks and Wildlife’s popular spawning and genetics research program.

CHAAMP takes 2nd place at NTAA district Tournament

The CHAAMP Hawks men’s varsity basketball squad went 3-2 in the NTAA district tournament in Winfield and took second place. Both CHAAMP losses in the double elimination tournament came at the hands of the Tyler Heat, who won the district title.
