MPHS JV1 Lady Tigers Bronze Champions in Royse City

The Mount Pleasant High School JV1 Lady Tigers were the Bronze Champions in the 11th annual Craig Bowers Memorial Basketball Tournament this weekend in Royse City. The JV division featured teams from Rockwall, Prestonwood, Kaufman, Legacy, Dunbar, Royse City, Greenville, Tyler and Richardson.

Lady Bulldogs snap skid with two-game win streak

Teams go through rough patches of their schedule. What a team hopes to do in those moments is bounce back. The Harts Bluff Lady Bulldogs had a rough patch last weekend at the Union Grove Tournament, dropping all four games, then had a road matchup against a strong Prairiland team.

NTCC baseball announces spring schedule

The 2024 Northeast Texas Community College baseball schedule has been completed and includes a total of 55 games under head coach Andy Morgan. The schedule features 20 home dates (31 games) and 15 road dates (24 games).

On the heels of the team’s first winning season since 2012 and a season where two upsets denied them a playoff berth, the Mount Pleasant Tiger football team was recognized by the coaches of District 8-5A Div. II as 21 Tigers were named to the all-district team.
