Tigers tied for 1st in district play; Lady Tigers win over Marshall

After suffering their first district loss of the season Jan. 12 at Longview, the Mount Pleasant Tigers got back to work looking to ensure that the road to the 15-5A title still runs through the black and gold.

MPJH Cheerleaders place 2nd at NCA National competition

The Mount Pleasant Junior High School Cheerleaders participated in their final competition of the year at NCA Nationals in Dallas on January 20-21. MPJH Cheer competed against 14 other squads in the Game Day Junior High/Middle School – Medium division. They scored an 86.0833 on day one and an 87.

HB teams fall in tight games at Rivercrest

Since becoming a part of an official UIL district last year, Harts Bluff has found respectful rivals throughout the local 2A populace. Perhaps the biggest rival comes from right up the highway in a district opponent that takes just as much pride in their basketball program.

NTCC Athletics moves to cashless athletic events

Northeast Texas Community College Athletics is moving to cashless concessions for the upcoming 2024 sports seasons. In an effort to help our fan experience, Eagle Athletics is now working with Hometown Fan App to handle all ticket sales and concession sales.

Devils run record to 20-1; Lady Devils split first two games of ‘24

The state-ranked Chapel Hill Red Devils kicked off district play with three wins.and ran their overall record to 23-1. The Devils played at Winona to start their district schedule and rolled past the Wildcats, 88-27.
