MPHS Powerlifting continues season at Paul Pewitt in Omaha

Tiger Powerlifting won 1st place team last Saturday, February 8, at the invitational meet at Paul Pewitt High School in Omaha. And individually, senior, Jose Gonzalez, won the Best Heavyweight Lifter Award. Coach Blake Lodes said, “Our boys got after it!

The Harts Bluff Bulldogs clinched this District 16-2A Championship last week with an 11-1 league record and will head into the playoffs at 26-10 overall. MPHS Tiger golf plays in Longview

The Mount Pleasant High School Tiger golf team played at Pinecrest Country Club in Longview on Monday, February 3. Leading the way for the tigers was Jacob Baker (74 and 3rd place), followed by Brandon Carter (80), Hogan Horn (84), Bradon Lowry (94), Alessandro Greco (116), and Christian Cruz (115).

Lady Tigers fall to Lovejoy in bi-district

The Mount Pleasant Lady Tigers saw their basketball season come to a close on Monday night in Sulphur Springs as the Lovejoy Lady Leopards claimed a convincing 62-26 bi-district victory. Lovejoy moves on the Class 5A, Division 2, Region 2 area round to face Frisco Memorial (30-7).
