Chapel Hill opens cross-country season

The Chapel Hill cross-country team opened their season Saturday at Commerce in the Commerce Invitational Meet. The Red Devil boys finished fifth overall in the team standings. Lucas Thomas paced the team with a third place finish with a time of 18:20. C.J.

Tigers travel to Wylie to open 2021 season

The Mount Pleasant Tigers will go on the prowl for a season opening victory as they hit the road Thursday night to take on the Wylie East Raiders. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Wylie Stadium. The Raiders finished last season 1-7 and 0-6 in a vicious District 7-5A Div. I.
