Chapel Hill opens cross-country season

    The Chapel Hill cross-country team opened their season Saturday at Commerce in the Commerce Invitational Meet. The Red Devil boys finished fifth overall in the team standings. Lucas Thomas paced the team with a third place finish with a time of 18:20. C.J. Kump finished 34th with a time of 21:02 and Cesar Valles placed 36th, coming in at 21:07.
