Lady Devils continue winning ways

The Chapel Hill Lady Devils took a road victory Friday at Cooper High School. It was all Chapel Hill from the tip. The Lady Devils raced out to a 15-0 first quarter lead. In the second quarter Cooper got on the scoreboard, but the Chapel hill defense was just too stifling for Cooper to get any momentum. The Lady Devils won the second quarter 14-6 to take a 29-6 half-time lead.

It was another strong defensive showing Tuesday night as the Mount Pleasant Tigers held the Lindale Eagles to a season low 22 points and a 20 percent shooting performance from the field. The win keeps the Tigers in a tie for first place in the district race with rival Sulphur Springs and improves their overall record to 23-3.
