Rodeo seeks participants for Calf Dressing and Costume Contest

The NTCC Rodeo team will be hosting the third NIRA Southern Region Rodeo of the season on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st. Each night at 7:30pm we will have a calf dressing and costume contest. No cost to enter and each three-man team will compete for gift cards and a NTCC Rodeo Apparel for the Calf Dressing and Costume Contest.

NTCC Baseball team lends a hand at Harts Bluff

The Northeast Texas Community College Baseball team took time out of their week to visit Harts Bluff school this Wednesday to assist with the morning drop off. Players had a great time assisting the staff and greeting students.

Lady Devils battling for second in district

Kaylee Tompkins and the Chapel Hill Lady Devils currently stand in third place in district play, a half-game behind Mineola for second. Chapel Hill traveled to Mount Vernon Tuesday and will host Winona Friday. The Lady Devils close the regular season next Tuesday on the road at Mineola in a game that could decide second place in district, depending on other outcomes.

Lady Bulldogs 2nd in district as season nears end

Harts Bluff’s Alexa Arzate prepares to serve during a recent game. The Lady Bulldogs are currently second in district play with their only two district losses coming to state-ranked and district leading Detroit. The Lady Bulldogs opened the final round of district play Tuesday at Rivercrest, play at Clarksville Friday and finish the regular season at home against Detroit next Tuesday. Harts Bluff is 14-14 overall this season.

CHAAMP Varsity Volleyball Teams ends season 2nd in District

CHAAMP (Christian Homeschool Athletics Association Mt. Pleasant) varsity volleyball team placed second at the 2023 NTAA Tournament in Longview, Texas. The double elimination tournament began Friday morning with five teams playing the best out of three games. As one of the top-ranked teams in the district, CHAAMP received a bye and began at 11:00 a.m.
