CHAAMP Hawks win 5th straight, besting Kings Academy

The Christian Homeschool Athletic Association of Mt. Pleasant (CHAAMP) Hawks won their first home game of 2022, besting the King’s Academy Knights in a physical 52-43 victory, the team’s 5th straight win.

CH starts soccer season with 1-2 record at Pittsburg Tourney

The Chapel Hill Red Devil soccer team opened their season last week with a road game at Carthage and at PIttsburg’s Mayben Realty Elite Soccer Tournament. In their season opener, the Devils fell to the Bulldogs, 8-2, Oscar Mejia and Marcos Netro each had a goal and an assist in the game.

The Chapel Hill Lady Devils looked to keep pace with fellow district favorite Winnsboro ahead of their first district meeting by picking up a win in their initial game of 2022, the team’s third district game, as they took on the Quitman Lady Bulldogs Tuesday.

Devils tame Dogs in district matchup

Text The Chapel Hill Red Devils looked to keep a zero in their district loss column when they hosted the Quitman Bulldogs Tuesday night. Though the Bulldogs attempted several times to make a run, the Red Devils maintained pressure on defense to pick up a 66-45 win.

Tigers go 3-1 at Franklin Invitational, take 5th place

Text The Mount Pleasant Tigers traveled to Franklin over the Christmas holidays to compete in the Franklin Christmas Invitational Dec 27-29 and came away with three wins and a fifthplace finish over the three days.
