Hawks shed Full Armor, 91-20

In their first action of 2022, the CHAAMP Hawks started the year on a winning note. The Hawks traveled to Longview to take on Full Armor Christian Academy, jumping out to a 21-4 first quarter lead and never looking back on their way to a 91-20 win over the Warriors.

Dogs close out 2021 with win over C-P

Brahmas recognized on All-District team

The Pewitt Brahmas had their playoff season recognized by the coaches of District 10-3A Div. II with the release of the All-District Team, announced recently. The Brahmas claimed three superlative awards. Sophomore offensive lineman Kaid Pureco was named Offensive Newcomer of the Year.

Brahmas win Hawkins Tournament

The Pewitt Brahmas traveled to Hawkins last week for the Hawkins Holiday Hoops Tournament, bringing the title home to Morris County with a 67-50 win over DeKalb. The Brahmas also defeated East Texas Homeschool, 61-54, and the host Hawks, 68-52.

CHAAMP Hawks soar past Paris Trinity Christian

In their final contest of 2021, the CHAAMP Hawks didn’t need long to put the game away. The Hawks led after one quarter, 21-6 and at the half, 41-13 on their way to an 83-33 win over Paris Trinity Christian. John Paul Angier and John Hall led the Hawks with 18 points each.

2021 Football Season in Review

The Mount Pleasant Tigers returned to the playoffs for the first time in four years after a 51-13 win over Jacksonville clinched them third place. The TIgers traveled to College Station to take on A&M Consolidated in the bi-district round, but lost to the Tigers on the road.
