Lady Tigers blank Royse City

The Mount Pleasant Lady Tiger soccer team kicked off their season on Tuesday with a 2-0 shutout of former district foe Royse City. Freshman Karina Torres tallied both goals for Mount Pleasant with junior Dana Memije adding an assist. Junior Jackie Gonzales manned the net with six saves to secure the shutout.
