Mount Pleasant High School Colorguard Director, Marty Newman, took his 2025-2026 officers to camp at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. from June 15-18. The camp featured fundamental training in flag, rifle, sabre, and dance.

Adult Education receives $10,000 grant from Dollar General Literacy Foundation

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (DGLF) recently awarded Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education and Literacy Program (NTCC AEL) a $10,000 grant to support adult literacy. The funds are a part of a record-setting, one-day donation in the Foundation’s history of more than $13.
