May is National Moving Month

Marketplace Issues For countless Americans, the month of May signifies a major transition in their lives. Whether it is graduating from high school or college, starting a new job or receiving that highly anticipated acceptance letter, May marks the beginning of the busiest time in the nation for moving.

NTCC to close for Memorial Day

Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. Offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 30th. Students can still apply and register online for summer and fall 2023 classes even when the college is closed.

MPJH competes in UIL Junior High Academic Meet

Mount Pleasant Junior High School 7th and 8th graders competed in the annual Middle School District UIL Academic Meet earlier in the semester and brought home multiple medals and ribbons. ~The 8th grade Music Memory Team of Sara Vanhoose, Lachlan Miles, and Avery Brown took 3rd place as a team.

Summer Feeding Program

Chapel Hill ISD announces the Summer Food Service Program. Free meals for children and teens ages 18 and younger will be served beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Meals will be served Monday through Friday until June 9th. Starting June 12, the Meals will be served Monday through Thursday until June 30, 2023.
