MPHS Bass Fishing team competes at Lake Fork

The Mount Pleasant High School Bass Fishing Team continued their regular season at the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) tournament on Lake Fork on November 13. First for the Tigers, the team of Clayton Miller and Cody Slone placed 55th out of 128 teams with fish weighing 2.08 lbs.

The Chapel Hill Lady Devils traveled to Winnsboro for the annual Hoopfest this past weekend, splitting their four games. The Lady Devils lost their opener to 4A’s seventh-ranked and eventual tournament champion Brownsboro, 49-23, defeated Pittsburg, 63-41, held off Whitehouse, 43-36, and lost to Paris, 50-27.
