Every semester the fulltime and associate faculty in NTCC’s Division of Humanities and Social Sciences can select an outstanding student, who is exceptional in some way. This semester, History Professor John Russo nominated Maria Valdelamar.

The 4th Annual Jake Wilson Memorial Bass Tournament was held on Saturday, May 1st at the Minnow Bucket Marina on Lake Fork, Texas. We had a total of 48 boats trying for the 10 prizes and trying to catch the biggest bass for 500.00 Dollars. The First Place prize paid $2000.00, Second place is $1000.

The choirs at Harts Bluff performed their last concert for the year Tuesday night, May 4. They sang a variety of songs from classical style to pop style including “Abba Forever.” Pictured below is the 6th grade choir and the Harts Bluff Chorale Choir including 7th - 9th grades.

NTCC Rodeo Winds Down Year

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team will make the trip down to Athens, Texas May 7th and May 8th to close out the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region season.
