Janet Glaze, 77, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Friday night, Dec. 2, 2022, at her home in Carthage. Janet Carolyn Harris was born on Dec. 19, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, TX to the late Thomas Cecil Harris and Daisy Ellen Green Harris. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1963. On Jan. 19, 1963, Janet married Harold Leland Glaze, in a small ceremony attended by the bride, groom, and minister Ned Chipley, because Janet was still in high school at the time. She loved working on puzzles and spending time with her family. Janet moved to Carthage in 1976, from Mesquite, TX, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Cain.
