Ruth attended high school in Arkansas and later met and married Loyd Williams. After her husband passed away, Ruth married J.C. Calvery. She spent most of her time as a dedicated housewife; she also worked at Hardee’s making biscuits and enjoyed grooming dogs.

Joe Williams Sandlin, 85, peacefully passed away on May 3, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born to Bob and True Sandlin on November 20, 1937. He attended Mount Pleasant schools through junior high and graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio as a Company Commander in 1956. Joe met the love of his life, Sue Nicholls, while attending school in San Antonio. They were married in 1957 and moved to Mt. Pleasant where Joe began his career at Bob Sandlin Motors.
