Euterpean Club meets

The Euterpean Club of Mt. Pleasant gathered in the lovely home of Barbara P. Caldwell at 3:45 PM on Thursday, February 27th, to enjoy a program of musical compositions reflecting “Heart Warming Melodies”. Barbara P. Caldwell was our most gracious hostess. Melba Spann was our Program Director.

Planting Roots: MPHS Construction class builds stand for Corprew Community Garden

The Frances Corprew chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society has been growing vegetables for their community garden for a couple of years. The garden, the idea of NEHS advisor, Cassie George, gives the students hands-on experience in the life cycle of a plant.

MPHS Future Business Leaders of America students advance to Nationals

Seventy-six Mount Pleasant High School members of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competed at the State Leadership Conference at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock on February 23-25 with 10 students qualifying for Nationals and two additional students named alternates.
