The Mount Pleasant High School Theatre Department announces their first production of the season, Little Women, from the book by Louisa May Alcott.Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March.

Wallace Middle School sixth grader, Anna Henry, won the annual Pilot Club “What It Means to be an American” essay competition. Pilot Club member, Becky Meriwether, presented Henry with a certificate and monetary award at the Wallace Middle School Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 11.
