Commissioners approve annual audit

At the regular meeting of the Titus County Commissioners court on Jan. 12, Andrew Arnold presented the annual audit to the commissioners, sharing the ending fund balance was $14.3 million. “We increased our fund balance by about $700,000, and revenue was up by about $536,000,” stated Arnold.

Skillzone Game Room was investigated by the Titus County Sheriff’s Office for illegal gambling. On Jan. 14, deputies carried out a search warrant after receiving a tip regarding illegal activities located at 1501 South Jefferson Avenue.
