Mount Pleasant ISD staff members participated in the 6th annual Tiger Share Fair on Monday, August 15, on the newly renovated Mount Pleasant High School campus. The Tiger Share Fair is a self-run professional development fair where participants could attend sessions on everything from behavior and classroom management to using Microsoft Teams in the classroom to CPR and Stop the Bleed to digital resources for the K-6 classroom, just to name a few. Presenters were primarily MPISD staff members with additional presentations provided by the Region VIII Education Support Center. Attendees could also visit the exhibit hall that provided information from community resources like the TRMC Wellness Center, the Mount Pleasant Tiger Athletic Boosters, and the Mount Pleasant Titus County Retired School Personnel Association as well as several vendors from local businesses. Teachers and staff are preparing for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 17.
