TDLR safeguards consumers with online list of revoked licenses

Crime & Courts

There are 132 inmates in jail with 116 males and 16 females. Since Nov. 21, the following have been booked into the jail: • Brandon T. Duncan, 28 of Mesquite, was arrested for Possession of Marihuana, and a Collin County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. • Jackie L.

Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is a favorite tree in our landscape. We first learned about common, or vernal, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis vernalis) in 2014 at the beginning of our Master Gardener adventure. A friend had a native plant nursery where she grew the plant from cuttings from a spectacular donor plant.

Master Gardeners training begins in January, so sign up with Titus County AgriLife and make your plans to participate in the 50 hours of classroom training and 50 hours of volunteer service. You will be glad you did. Master Gardeners are particular about vocabulary.
