At the gas station, I pulled off to the right, stopped the car, and prepared to give away my raincoat after taking it off. After all, the goal of the outing included searching for a weary person caught in the rain since I also had ponchos in the back of my SUV.

MLT students visit LifeShare Blood Center

Second-year Medical Lab Technology (MLT) students took a field trip to LifeShare in Shreveport, LA this week. The students were able to learn about the blood donation process from donor requirements to collection. After donating blood, students toured components and hospital services.

MLT students visit TRMC lab

Thursday, November 30th, second year MLT students braved the rain to tour the laboratory at Titus Regional Medical Center. They were able to see first hand how the skills they’ve been learning throughout their time at NTCC will be used.
