The Lord saw fit to bless me immensely four years ago with my first grandchild. Man of man was he a beautiful baby and oh so chunky. he quickly became “Chunk” to me and that boy lit up our world like the star that led the wise men to baby Jesus. He was simply the most beautiful creature I had ever seen walk the planet Earth.

There are 143 inmates in jail with 118 males and 25 females. since 11/30/2022 the following have been booked into the jail: • KelciKennedy,32of Linden, was arrested for Assault.

The Mount Pleasant High School Cheerleaders competed in the UCA Virtual Regional competition on Tuesday, November 15. Competing against four other teams from Mississippi and North Carolina, MPHS Cheer took 2nd place in the Game Day Varsity- Non Tumbling division. They will continue their competition season this Saturday in Crandall where they will be joined by the cheerleaders from Mount Pleasant Junior High. MPHS Cheer is under the direction of Karissa Lopez.

The Mount Pleasant High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) officers attended the Area 6 Fall Leadership Conference at Athens High School on Friday, November 18. While at the conference, students learned interview tips, dinner etiquette, and how to dress for success with other FBLA students from around the area.
