Everything Texas Ranch Run set for March 25

The Everything Texas Ranch Run will once again be presented by Herschel’s Restaurant and will be hosted on the legendary Priefert Ranch in Mount Pleasant on March 25, 2023. This is the sixth year for the ranch run at the Priefert Ranch and each year this event attracts approximately 350 runners of all ages.

Titus County road ro receive turn lane, shoulders

A portion of FM 1735 in Titus County is scheduled for improvements soon, according to plans awarded in January by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The project will begin at the intersection of FM 1735 and State Highway 49, and extend 2.1 miles south.

MPHS advances to UIL CX Debate State Championships

For the seventh year in a row, Mount Pleasant High School Speech and Debate will send a team to the UIL Cross Examination Debate State tournament. The team of seniors Anthony Orellana and Eli Rider took second place at the District meet on January 26 in Longview, qualifying them for the State meet in March.
