CHAAMP Hawks volleyball temper wins and losses

The Christian Homeschool Athletics Association of Mount Pleasant (CHAAMP) varsity volleyball team maintains a busy schedule. They played four games over the last two weeks, facing wins and losses.On September 3, the Hawks faced the Daingerfield Tigers, sweeping the sets 25-12, 25-13, 25-8.

Those stately greenheads may be the sexiest of all the ducks on the pond, but blue-winged teal always grab the most attention with Texas’ early bird waterfowl crowds. The bell is ringing especially loud these days.

Northeast Texas Community College Athletics is now cashless for tickets and concessions for the upcoming 2024-2025 sports seasons. In an effort to help our fan experience, Eagle Athletics is now working with Hometown Fan App to handle all ticket sales and concession sales.

The Harts Bluff Lady Bulldogs claimed the Silver Bracket Championship Saturday at the Hooks Been There, Dug That volleyball tournament. After pool play on Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs competed in the silver bracket with teams from Rivercrest, Daingerfield, Maud, James Bowie, Linden-Kildare and Avery.
