“On day three of camp, our Jr High Captain, Audrey Fisher received the All American Award! She was awarded during her individual tryout,” said Harts Bluff ISD. “She received Superior for her cheer, dance and jump! Only the best of the best out of all the girls at camp received this award!

Ten Lady Tigers Named All-District Softball

After a third-place finish in district and a playoff run that saw the Lady Tigers advance to the Area round, Mount Pleasant was recently honored with ten athletes being named to the All-District team. Head coaches within in the district select the awards given to the top players in the district.

The Mount Pleasant Dream Team, a group of local sixth graders, recently competed in the 2021 Mavs Spring Shootout held at PSA McKinney in the Dallas area. The two-day tournament matched up the Dream Team with talent from across the state and metroplex.

From June 3 to June 5, the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association held the 2021 rodeo at the Priefert Rodeo Arena. Stands were packed on all three nights of the event. The rodeo featured bronc riding, roping, bull riding, and many other rodeo events. A concert and a stunt show also took place.

Thirty-four Mount Pleasant High School seniors were honored at a recognition dinner on Thursday, May 6th. These 34 represent the top 10% of the MPHS Class of 2021. Each student was introduced and given their Honor Graduate cord and tassel.
