Rebel baseball sweeps A-G, to meet Kerens this weekend

    The Rivercrest Rebels found themselves in playoff mode early this year. Battling for the final spot out of the district with Linden-Kildare, Rivercrest finished off a sweep of eventual top seed Maud, then defeated the Tigers in their district playoff. Their reward was a playoff matchup with 18-2A district champion Alba-Golden in a best-ofthree series at Gilmer’s Matt Camp Ballpark....
