MP uses 17-0 run, defense to win against Marshall, 17-7

    The Mount Pleasant Tigers have never shied away from a battle on the gridiron. Kicking off district play in 15-5A with two of the district favorites was never going to be an easy task, but the Tigers were set to rise to the challenge. The district opener at Texas High didn’t go as planned, but the black and gold showed up in a big way Friday with a 17-7 win at home over Marshall....
