    The Mount Pleasant High School Goin’ Gold Band competed against 16 bands at the Battle for the Spear Marching Classic at Winnsboro High School on Saturday, October 19. At the end of prelims, MPHS received Outstanding Winds and Outstanding 5A Band awards.
