Lady Bulldogs sweep Clarksville; play first-ever playoff game next week

In their first UIL season, the Harts Bluff Lady Bulldogs got their first district sweep Friday.

Traveling to Clarksville, the Lady Bulldogs pulled off the season sweep over the Lady Tigers with a 3-0 win (25-16, 25-8, 25-13).

Harts Bluff will represent the district as the third place team and will likely take on Ore City in their first ever playoff game next week.

Against Clarksville, Kaitley Green had two kills, six aces, two blocks, four digs and 11 assists. Alexis Gonzalez added six kills, five aces, two blocks and three digs. Yaretzi Sanchez had two kills, four aces and four digs.

Kaylee Clay, Anay Solorio and Kaithlin Le all added kills. Solorio also had three aces and Clay and Alexa Arzate both had two aces. Perla Solorio and Arzate also had six digs. Le added two digs and Clay had a dig.

Harts Bluff finished the regular season Tuesday at Detroit.
