The Paul Pewitt Junior High football teams opened their home schedule Thursday evening by taking on the Commerce Tigers.
In the eighth grade contest, the Brahmas took control of the game from the opening kickoff on their way to a 32-0 win over the Tigers. After a 50-yard kickoff return by Wesley Smith, Mikael Flemming opened the game with a one-yard touchdown run.
