It’s all about perspective

Since 2015, I have had a column in the Bee almost every week under the heading of “From My Perspective.” Each week, those columns have had wide and varied sub-headings and topics.

That durn bird almost pooped on my shirt again yesterday morning as I was walking the dog down the driveway, but he gave his position away. He tweeted, I stopped, he dropped his load way off target, and we both went on our merry way, happy to be alive. Except for the dog.

I do a lot of driving throughout the area. Every town seems to have at least one historical marker. Each marker has its own significance. Some markers, such as the one at the city park in Daingerfield, were erected to pay homage to the founder of the town or community.
