Kids all across America have headed back for another school year. Some are glad (especially the youngsters who think they are “big”), then some not so glad (older kids who think school is boring). However, I bet the parents are, for the most part, happy school is back in session.

A few weeks ago, the “National Voter Registration Day” was observed. I’m a strong believer in civic responsibility like serving on jury duty and voting at the local, state and national levels. I don’t take this country’s freedoms for granted, and freedom of the ballot is important to me.
