My mouth gets me in trouble

What if I told you that the source of some of our problems could be found within us—from the neck up? This column first applies to me, but I thought I’d share my revelation about the things that come from my mouth and how they aren’t the prettiest on certain days.

Believing he was anchored off the coast of present-day Alabama instead of Spanish Texas, French explorer La Salle went ashore on Jan. 20, 1685. Louis XIV of France rewarded Rene Robert Cavelier with the title of Sieur de la Salle for his history- making trip down the Mississippi River in 1682.
