Young appointed to Texas Supreme Court

Evan Young, a former clerk to the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, has been appointed to the Texas Supreme Court by Gov. Greg Abbott. He will replace Justice Eva Guzman, who resigned in June to run for Texas attorney general.

The giant dogwood tree (Cornus controversa ‘Variegata.’) is, quite probability, a species few know about. It’s native to Asia, but is adapted to large areas in the United States. Congrats always to our more familiar flowering dogwood, but the giant dogwood takes the species to a new level.
