It’s time to start thinking fruitcake

No matter what my loving wife, children, extended family, neighbors across the street, or complete strangers at the grocery store say, I believe it’s never too early to start thinking about baking a fruitcake. Never too early to think about it, plan for it, schedule it on my calendar, cancel my other appointments, hunt and gather all the needed ingredients, and hope beyond hope it will come out…
