Destiny Dimensions

Psalm 91:1 gives me so much serenity. You should take a deep breath and a sigh of relief. Many times when God calls us to something, it can be a little overwhelming because the Lord never calls us to something that seems easy. He also does not call us to anything within our comfort zones. God sees how much potential we have inside of us and stretches us to pull our potential out. Psalm 91:1 states that you can dwell in the secret place of the most high. The word dwell means to live, set up establish, build, or reside. This verse is describing those that have made up their minds to live their entire lives in the presence of God, in that place of communion with the Lord. We know that secret place means the place of prayer, where it’s just you and the Lord. Then Psalm 91:1 says that we can abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Abide means to live in or be found completely in something. This means we can daily dwell and abide in the presence of God.

When you’re in the presence of God all of your worries, cares, fears, and doubts are taken away. If you removed every obstacle that is holding you back from aggressively pursuing your God-given destiny, you would have freedom to run after all that was in your heart. My friends, this scripture just gave you that invitation into a lifestyle of God’s presence. When you build a strong dwelling place of prayer and daily communication with the Lord, you will truly be hidden under His shadow. Abiding in all of His power and love, you will be able to take daily steps toward your God-given destiny. Every day when we establish ourselves in the place of prayer with the Lord, we are setting ourselves up to advance the kingdom of God that day.

My friends, when you have an encounter with the Lord every day, everyone around you is going to be impacted by it. You will respond to situations different, act differently and talk differently because you are different. You will be living your life from the place of communion with the Spirit of God. When you are established in the secret place with God daily, you proceed with revelation from the Lord instead of natural wisdom. Your countenance will be one that has been with the Lord. The Lord speaks the deep things to the people who are found in His presence on a daily basis. These daily conversations with God will help unlock the mysteries that help you get closer to your God-given destiny on a daily basis.

He who dwells in the secret place ‘‘ ‘‘ of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
